- Mount the meter vertically and minimize external vibration and internal flow variation.
- Avoid inlet or outlet restrictions that can reduce attainable flow and disturb internal pressure; slowly purge trapped air or gas during startup.
- Install 1/8-27 MNPT fittings with no more than 60 in-lb torque. Tighten the supplied 10-32 mounting screws to no more than 5 in-lb.
- Read a ball float at its center or a bullet float at its groove. The exact float style and material are not identified by the ordering code.
