Installation and safety
Brooks’ installation manual provides the following operating requirements for Full-View 1110-series meters.
- Mount the flowmeter within 6 degrees of true vertical, with the inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top.
- A bypass piping arrangement is strongly recommended so the meter can be isolated for cleaning and service.
- Admit flow slowly and avoid pressure or flow surges.
- Do not operate beyond the pressure or temperature limits of the configured meter, and never service the instrument while it is pressurized.
- Check scale-to-tube zero alignment before initial operation and after reassembly.
